How do I find the nearest café?
Tap “Find cafés near me” above the map and allow your location. The list reorders nearest first, with distances. You can also search by suburb or postcode.
Can I return a cup to a different café?
Yes. Standard Good Reusables cups can be returned at any café on the map. Custom-branded cups go back to the café on the cup.
Do I need an app or an account?
No. There's no app and no sign-up. You pay a refundable $3 deposit when you borrow a cup.
What happens to my $3?
It's a refundable deposit. Bring the cup back to a Good café and you get the full $3 back.
Can I keep the cup?
Yes. You can keep reusing it as many times as you like, and claim your deposit back whenever you return it.
Are the cups safe to drink from?
Yes. They're BPA-free and PFAS-free, and made in Australia from food-contact PP.
What do the pink pins mean?
Pink pins are places we'd love to bring on. They aren't taking cups yet. If you know a café there, nominate it below.
My café isn't on the map. Why?
The map only lists cafés that have joined. Tell your café about Good Reusables, or email us their name and we'll reach out.
A café wouldn't take my cup. What now?
Email us the café's name and we'll sort it out. A few places on the map are marked “Return only” or “No returns here”, and custom-branded cups only go back to the café on the cup.
